Five Reason Why Video Rules Content Marketing

Five Reason Why Video Rules Content Marketing

Use of video is on the rise in content marketing, so it’s important to understand how and why video can be such a valuable tool for your organization. Here are 5 reasons why video should be an integral part of your marketing strategy: #1 – Improved SEO Simply put, with YouTube now the second largest search engine on the web, users can find you faster through video. Video also helps to decrease bounce rates – the longer a visitor stays on your page, the lower the bounce rate, and the higher your SEO rankings will be. #2 – Better Email Click-Through Rates Video can increase your email click-through rate by up to 300 percent and reduce your unsubscribe rate by 75 percent. #3 – Increased Conversions Recent research shows that 71% of marketers say video conversion rates outperform other marketing content. #4 – People Love Video and Expect to Find It On Your Website This is why people spend on average 2.6x more time on pages with video than without. #5 – Engagement Audiences are about 10 times more likely to engage, embed, share, and comment on video content than blogs or related social posts. When modern consumers seek information, they turn to video. If you’re looking to create strategic, engaging video content, drop us a line. We’d love to hear from...

FiveSpot Wins Two Telly Awards

FiveSpot Wins Two Telly Awards

We are pleased to announce that we have won two Telly awards for 2017. The first is for the Motorcycle Racing Sponsorship Video, and the second is for our custom Sports Sizzle Video. The Graham English Motorcycle Racing project was a true pleasure to work on. Although we only had 30 seconds of racing footage of Graham and a few photos, we were fortunate to have plenty of beautiful race footage to fill out the piece. My favorite part of the video starts at the 1:11 mark. Gorgeous aerial footage goes a long way! We amped up the photos with some energetic motion graphics and – voilà – the result is an exciting and upbeat video. Our second Telly Award was granted for our Sports Sizzle Video. We sifted through over 300 hours of sports footage to find the very best selects, then cut it to the tempo of some boisterous music. A sprinkle of fast-paced animation tied everything together. We are thrilled to have been awarded these Telly Awards. Although we are proud of our work without outside accolades, it’s always nice to be...

What to Expect When Working with Us

Posted by

What to expect when working with FiveSpot Media: We begin by discussing your needs. This part of the process is mostly listening on our part, with a few questions peppered in. A budget range should be set. [Why this is important.] In a perfect world, this gets established during the initial conversation. We submit an estimate and proposal based on the project needs and budget range. The first draft. We present our creative, based on your needs, for review. Revisions, if necessary. Sometimes we knock it out of the ballpark on the first shot. Sometimes the first draft is a good first step in the right direction. Perhaps there was a thought or goal that was left out of the early conversations. We will take the time to discuss and manage revisions properly. Everything is finalized. Once we have written approval (and – for first-time clients – payment in full), we deliver your project in the requested format. FiveSpot Media is a client-focused, creative shop, and we look forward to working with...

Why a Budget Range Is Important

Posted by

We understand that budgeting can be a challenge. That’s why it’s best to start off with a range and narrow in on specific numbers from there. Here are some reasons why it’s important to set budget parameters: It helps us get started off on the right foot. We want to be speaking your language straight out of the gate. It establishes guidelines for the project. We sometimes liken it to car buying: When you step onto a car lot, you generally have an idea of what you’d like to spend. Are you looking for entry-level, mid-range or luxury? It helps set the expectations of all parties. What a misstep it would be to submit a $5k proposal when the client was expecting $50k worth of “wow!” We also don’t want to shock anyone by dreaming of a big production when the client expects low-key solutions. Budgeting should be the result of both parties having an open dialogue about expectations and deliverables. We’re here both to listen and to...

Welcome to the re-designed FiveSpot Media website! We loved our old site and were sad to see it go, but it was time to refresh it.   The biggest change is our new logo. The dot burst symbolizes our enthusiastic, unified approach to our targeted creative work. The orange is meant to convey happiness. We love what we do!   The next noteworthy change is that we’ve folded our “Book of the Month” page into a blog. We’ll still share our monthly reading picks, but the new format gives us an opportunity to capture our thoughts and inspirations beyond our beloved books.   We hope you like our new site.
